Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in a locum tenens position specializing in Orthopedic Surgery within a hospital environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a burgeoning orthopedic clinic and participate in a range of surgical procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clinic and operating room support
  • Assist in total hip, knee, and ankle surgical procedures
  • Serve as the first assistant in surgeries (strongly preferred)
  • Conduct pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Perform detailed patient assessments and devise treatment plans
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Maintain precise and timely medical records using Soarian Clinical EMR system

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in both clinical and surgical settings, with a strong preference for first assist experience in orthopedic cases.
