Key Responsibilities:

As an Adult Career Services Specialist, you'll work under the guidance of our WIOA Team Leader to provide individual and group services aimed at enhancing work experience, readiness skills, and job training for adults. Your responsibilities will include mentoring, assessment, and supervision of clients enrolled in various workforce development programs.
  • Determine eligibility for WIOA and related services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to facilitate work experience and job placement
  • Market services to employers through various channels
  • Conduct presentations and attend events to promote our programs
  • Assess individuals' skills, interests, and goals
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor program performance
  • Stay updated on labor market trends and adjust services accordingly
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree and two or more years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess powerful motivational and communication skills.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and effectiveness in diverse environments.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
