Position Summary

SHMA is looking for a temporary ADAS Validation Engineer to join our team in San Mateo, C.A. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, execute validation activities, and provide feedback for product improvement. This is a temporary position that is anticipated to last six (6) months.

Job Responsibilities

  • Test and validate ADAS systems.
  • Manage driving operations for ADAS test vehicles.
  • Coordinate with outsourcing companies for vehicle operations.
Qualifications for Position
  • At least 3 years of experience in development and validation within the automotive industry.
  • Experience in embedded software development (e.g., automotive, robotics, drones) or a strong understanding of embedded system operation principles.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge and development experience in autonomous driving or ADAS.
  • Knowledge and development experience with sensors such as cameras, radar, and lidar.
  • Project management experience in large-scale system development.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese.

The anticipated monthly salary for this position will be $9,000 to $12,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
