You may be who we are looking for Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide production support to ensure tracking of internal KPI'sImproving processes in our Wire manufacturing cellInterface with internal program managers and external customers to understand a comprehensive knowledge of new products and to address quality issuesWork with Engineering Technicians and production personnel to optimize and streamline manufacturing processes within a LEAN manufacturing environmentLearn and support the operational aspects of new and existing equipmentPartner with other Engineers to develop strategic processing goals and objectives and integrate processes into value streams.Develop an expertise in nitinol materials processingFollow health, safety and environmental programs for preventative maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and ensuring that all hazards are properly managedQualifications/ Requirements:Bachelor degree in Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years of related engineering experience. A Master's degree in an applicable field of study would be an asset.Must be capable of performing under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative and constructive, working relationships with colleagues.Possess strong mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and creative/innovative thinkingAbility and desire to be hands-onMust be capable of applying good manufacturing principles during developmental phase in anticipation of production volumes.Strong written and verbal communication skills, must be capable of communicating clearly and efficiently in a highly technical manufacturing environmentExperience with nitinol processing and relevant equipment a plusMinitab and Design of Experiments experience is a plusConfluent Medical Technologiesoffers very competitive compensation and benefits and is proud to have a distinguished reputation throughout the medical device industry around the world We welcome eager and ambitious team players to apply Confluent Medical Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
