Your Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance: Assist our skilled dentists during a variety of dental procedures, providing top-notch patient care and comfort.
Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols for the safety of our patients and team.
X-ray Imaging: If you have Dental X-ray certification, perform and process X-rays efficiently and accurately.
Expanded Functions: Utilize your expanded functions dental assisting skills to enhance patient care and treatment.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Orthodontic Support: If you have orthodontic certification, contribute to our orthodontic procedures and patient care.
Qualifications:
Dental X-ray Certification (REQUIRED): Candidates must have a Maryland Dental X-ray certification.
Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (REQUIRED): Candidates must have a Maryland certification in expanded functions dental assisting.
Orthodontic Certification (A Plus): Orthodontic certification in Maryland is a valuable asset, but not absolutely necessary.
Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
