👩⚕️ Position: Full-Time Live-In Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- 💵 Salary: $40/hr (full-time)
- 📍 Location: Dallas, Texas
- 🗓️ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide professional nursing care in a home setting for a patient requiring consistent medical attention. Your role includes monitoring the patient’s health condition, administering medications, and providing daily care with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- 🌡️ Monitor patient’s vital signs and symptoms, reporting changes to the supervising RN or physician.
- 💊 Administer medications as prescribed and manage pain relief as needed.
- 🛀 Assist with daily needs like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- 🤝 Coordinate with healthcare professionals to implement health care plans effectively.
- 📝 Document nursing care accurately and maintain patient health records.
- 🤗 Provide emotional support and compassionate care to the patient and family.
- 📚 Educate the patient and family members on healthcare needs, conditions, and options.
- 🧼 Ensure a safe and clean environment following infection-control policies.
Qualifications:
- 📋 Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
- 💼 Proven LVN experience, preferably in a home health setting.
- 💬 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 🏥 Strong understanding of patient care and confidentiality standards.
- 😊 Compassionate and able to handle stress effectively.
- 💪 Physically capable of performing required duties.
