Mobile Lead Architect

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Lead Architect responsible for leading the architecture and development of mobile applications, ensuring best practices are followed and high-quality solutions are delivered. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and effective communication to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Location: Newark, NJ

You must be legally authorized to work in USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

Participate in future requirements analysis analyze and understand requirements.

Identify respective technical solutions and do the required analysis as per the need of the User Story.

Responsible for all app technical decision and respective implementation.

Identify cost factors and review with customer for Paid tools. If required

Prepare Update technical documents.

Sprint wise code review to maintain code standard and quality.

Ensure app performance and quality. To discuss and share with stockholders. If required

To maintain overall application architecture. Before and after User Story completion review

Ensure App delivery workflow management. CICD App Store Google Play App Releases

Support Root Cause Analysis process for production incidents.

Attend Daily Scrum calls OR stakeholder meetings as required. Mobile design and architecture experience.

Understanding of architectural and design patterns

Practical experience of iOS and Android app deployment procedures. Store deployment Enterprise deployment certificates provisioning profiles.

Understanding of cross browser issues and how to debug them.

Experience and working knowledge of relational and nonrelational data stores advantageous.

Qualifications

Mobile Lead Architect Mobile design and architecture experience.

Must have 6+ cumulative years of Mobile Front End experience in an enterprise environment.

Range of experience across various other Front End technologies Swift and Kotlin.

Experience integrating mobile front ends with backend REST APIs.

Deep understanding of modern testing methodologies, tools and practices.

Understanding of security and performance considerations.

Understanding of JSON RESTful web services.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
