Job specification
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring optimal recovery and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge processes.
Candidate requirements Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree) Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a progressive care or telemetry setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) is preferred. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) preferred. NIH Stroke Scale certification is required before completion of orientation. Why work with us?
