Core Room Operator Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania Schedule: 5:50 PM -- 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 work schedule What will you be doing? The Core Room Operator is responsible for running/monitoring core cutting machines and notchers, separating cores into bins and shelving, distributing and staging cores for the Slitting operators, and assisting in troubleshooting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Use internal schedules to determine quantity and size of cores needed at the Slitting machines Separate cores into bins to be shelved Keep up with appropriate stock levels Distribute needed cores to the Slitting operators using a cart Load cores into the dehumidifier Collect empty bins Troubleshoot problems Help train other machine operators Operate notchers and core cutting machines Empty scrap hoppers at the end of each shift Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility Why should you choose WorkLink Staffing?
