Job Description

Due to progressive growth, a reputable and leading construction contractor seeking a motivated and qualified Project Manager to add to their team . The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with 5+ years minimum experience managing heavy civil construction projects: heavy roads, highway, earthwork, and utilities. Bridge experience is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and maintain project goals and budgets
  • Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness to secure the most competitive pricing
  • Organize bid documentation and review worksheets with relevant team members
  • Prepare comprehensive “bid day” scope and analysis
  • Conduct on-going reviews with Project Management to identify and resolve any potential obstacles
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-10 years of heavy civil construction experience
  • Experience should include: heavy roads, highway, earthwork, and utilities. Bridge experience is a plus but not required.
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Great computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft software suite
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
  • Friendly, yet firm demeanor
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree
