Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift position. Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and call shifts. This position will work at Eastpark Medical Center and UW Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead to:

  • Be responsible for the daily operation of the Imaging Section along with performing routine, complex and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and/or PET imaging work.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and daily work assignments, and serve as a resource for Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
  • Suggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement, as well as coordinate training and development of the Imaging Specialists and keep them advised of technological changes.
  • Identify cost savings, and assure that technical operations stay within the targeted budget.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Two (2) years clinical experience.

Preferred - Three (3) years clinical experience. One (1) year of clinical experience in a leadership role.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Certification by appropriate body (ARRT or NMTCB). CPR certification required within 3 months of hire. Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through ARRT (RT-N) or NMTCB (CNMT).
