The ideal candidate will have expertise in critical care and cardiovascular nursing, providing advanced care to patients with life-threatening heart conditions or recovering from cardiovascular surgeries.

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU, including those recovering from heart surgery or experiencing severe cardiac conditions.
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and intra-aortic balloon pumps to support patients' cardiac functions.
  • Respond to emergencies with precision, utilizing critical care protocols to stabilize patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular care, post-surgery recovery, and lifestyle changes for long-term health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.
Candidate requirements 2 years of experience in an intensive care or cardiovascular care setting BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Previous experience in a CVICU or ICU setting preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills
