Main Responsibilities:

As a US FOODS Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in our team and be one of the first points of contact for our customers. You will deliver a range of goods—including meats, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies—directly to their designated drop-off locations. Your efforts contribute to the operational success of US FOODS, driven by our cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service mindset.

  • Deliver exceptional Customer Service.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining productivity.
  • Unload products using a hand truck and store items appropriately in customer storage areas.
  • Handle repetitive manual lifting of items weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Make frequent stops throughout your shift.
  • Deliver products even in inclement weather conditions.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers.
  • Collect payment where necessary (cash or checks).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by your state of legal residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license issued by your state of legal residence, with appropriate endorsements if required.
  • No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years; no DUI convictions in the past three years; no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Minimum six months of commercial driving experience required (any industry) OR three months of experience in food and beverage delivery.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
