The developer utilizes knowledge of database design, data structure and modeling to deliver on system balanced scorecard initiatives, regulatory reporting, and clinical decision support. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following: · Planning and development of business and design requirements by assessing customer needs and determines most appropriate data sources, data fields and visualization tools · Translate requirements into functional specifications for data model developers. · Understand workflows and critical questions that need to be answered incorporating feedback into the design of analytic solutions. · Understand quality and regulatory reporting requirements across the acute and non-acute delivery systems for Hartford HealthCare · Partners with internal/external resources to acquire data from Epic Clarity & Caboodle, HHC EDP, Clinical Intelligence database and 3-party databases and develops ETL routines to populate data repositories. · Performs data validation by creating and executing testing plans and runs audit reports and routines to ensure integrity of data. · Document, monitor and refine standard work processes. Operationalize standard work for data stewards as needed for ongoing validation efforts. · Leads in the development and documentation of requirements for analytic report content and dashboard visual representation. Performs debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting functionality and content. · Leads user access testing efforts and develops communication plans. Establishes user access and PHI requirements. *_Education:_ · Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Analytics, or related discipline _Experience:_ * Demonstrated proficiency in SQL (essential to this role); Oracle PL/SQL required for Clarity and T-SQL for Caboodle and internal SQL databases. * ETL proficiency in SSIS or Informatica a plus. * 1-2 years’ QlikView/Qlik Sense development experience required. * * We take great care of careers.
