Neurologist opportunity in Moultrie, Georgia - Located 35 miles from Albany, GA & 60 miles from Tallahassee, FL Position Details: - Seeking a full-time neurologist to join an established practice with a board-certified neurologist and with additional support from two NPs- Required call 7 days/month (one week/month) - Includes support from an FNP-C. - Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits.- Facility is located on the hospital campus- Physicians lounge with meals provided- 24-hour gym Benefits: - Generous student loan repayment assistance- Paid health insurance- Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage.- Optional participation in supplemental benefits package- Paid house-hunting and relocation- Monthly cell phone allowance- CME allowance and CME paid time off- Paid time off annually, plus holidays- Residents/fellows who make an early commitment receive a monthly stipend through the duration of their training Requirements: - Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years)- Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Conditions treated: - Epilepsy- Parkinsons disease and tremor- Multiple sclerosis- Stroke- Dementia, including Alzheimers disease- Headaches, including migraines- Gait and balance disorders- Vertigo and dizziness- Seizure disorders- Brain tumors Diagnostic Services: - Computed Tomography Scan (CT or CAT scan)- Electroencephalogram (EEG)- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)- Electrodiagnostic Tests, such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV)- Positron Emission Tomography (PET)- Arteriogram (Angiogram)- Spinal tap (Lumbar Puncture)- Evoked Potentials- Myelogram- Neurosonography- Ultrasound (Sonography) About the Group: - The way the group works hospital-owned physician practices is to treat them as if the MD is the owner. The group negotiates a salary based upon MGMA figures, which is paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice as he would if he/she owned the practice. Physicians also receive full benefits including paid malpractice, benefits package, relocation, CME allowance, paid time off. - If you are a resident who wants to make an early commitment, the group will pay you a monthly stipend to help with expenses through the duration of training.- Medical center is a quality institution.
