The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health & Disease provides patient care in both the hospital and ambulatory settings and takes great pride in offering services for common, complex, and rare medical conditions. The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease, is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner at our outpatient location at Adams County Regional Medical Center, located at 230 Medical Center Drive, Seaman, OH. Essential Functions Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients. Conduct basic physical and psychosocial assessment of the individual and/or family. Assist physicians and other providers in delivery of care. Distinguish between normal conditions and normal and abnormal deviations by specific screening and tests. Refer patients with abnormal findings to physicians, as appropriate. Supervise cardiac stress testing. Manage common episodic and chronic illnesses and administer medication and treatments as prescribed. Provide counseling and health training. Maintain accurate records. Participate in research and development projects. Perform related duties based on departmental need. Required Education Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Required Trainings/Certifications Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty BLS certification. Required Experience Three (3) years nursing experience. Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.
