Speech Language Pathologist SLP

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a committed Speech Language Pathologist to join a school district in San Diego County, CA for the 24/25 SY Fall Semester. The qualified SLP will act as the students' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist students to function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.Active SLP State LicenseMust have their CCCsCurrent BLS/CPR CertificationStrong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatmentsProficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databasesAttentive and caring with the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skillsIEP MeetingsConducting assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skillsEnsuring evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelinesCompleting treatment notes and progress reports in timely manner and according to school policyProvide therapy on siteGrade level Pre K- 12Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionalsPerforming screenings to detect voice or speech disordersEvaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disordersSubmit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basisAbout Pioneer Healthcare Services:We are a San Diego-based staffing and recruiting travel company for exceptional nurses and therapists all over the U.S. We can help forge a new path towards schools and healthcare facilities.We offer:• Highest pay packages tailored to meet your own needs• Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision• 401K Retirement Services• Housing, Meals and Incidentals allowance• Relocation Assistance• License Reimbursement• Weekly pay with Direct Deposit• Professional Liability / Malpractice coverage#LI-TS
