BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 4+ Months Contract to Hire.Job Type: [(40 HRS WEEKLY)] [CONTRACT], [Remote]Pay Range: $40/hr - $46.9/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Description: This position is a direct report to the Group Product Manager and has sound knowledge of business processes in the specific area of technology enablement. * This position is specific to Clean Energy Future (CEF) programs. * The tester should have at least 4 years of experience working within utility energy efficiency capital projects, hands on experience with eligibility, enrollment, and investment tracking workflows. * The Tester should also have a solid foundation CRM, analytics, billing and accounting platforms. * The candidate must be agile certified and must be able to refine, and estimate testing effort for user stories, and conduct GAP analysis. * The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high sense of urgency, highly organized and keep meticulous records.Responsibilities include and not limited to: * Develop and document Test Cases that will meet the business requirements and fulfill user stories * Develop wireframes or prototypes based on business input/requirements to visualize concepts and to produce requirements for development. * Understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals * Participate in user requirement sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical solutions * Handle and implements third-party integrations and trouble-shoots any issues with vendors/partners and applications as they arise. * Collaborate with development team to test that solutions will meet the business requirements * Develop and creates advanced-level customized reports and dashboards. * Develop and maintain documentation related to system functions and use * Provide ongoing production support, including responding to user issues, collaborating with the technical team to analyze and resolve reported system issues, and communicating the resolution of issues to the departments. * Document use cases, business/system/functional requirements, requirements traceability matrix and test cases. * Work closely with IT teams as part of the development and unit testing * Work closely with business team as part of UAT testingBasic Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge): * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering or Math or relevant experience * 3-5 years' applicable equivalent work experience * 5-7 years' experience with elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements * Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes. * Requires broad knowledge of the Petra Solar business area's functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives.Benefits:BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.Keywords:Solar Energy, utility energy, eligibility, enrollment, & Agile Certified.About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
