Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Front Desk Camp Support Staff supports and monitors summer day camp checks ins, camper finances, and daily reports needed for camp staff. Provides excellent customer service to campers and parents, collects payments, applies fees, and performs data entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and input entries from the previous day/evening camp log into Club Automation (CA) for collection as campers are dropped off.
  • Provide support for check-ins for Extended Care and the start of Camp Kroc.
  • Collect and apply any outstanding fees.
  • Provide any updates or communication pieces to parents supplied by Camp Coordinator.
  • Update Camp Log according to issues at check-in and inform Camp Coordinator of updates.
  • Maintain communication with Camp Coordinator.
  • Provide daily attendance reports.
  • Provide daily report for extended care AM/PM.
  • Provide weekly report for cancellations and refunds.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Experience working with adults, youth and children.

  • Good communication skills including interpersonal skills.
  • English proficiency required; Spanish language skills helpful.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization.
  • Exceptional flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team.
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters
  • Strong independent judgement.
  • General computer knowledge is required to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
