Position Overview: The Radiology Technologist II competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. This role involves working independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The Radiology Technologist II also adheres to all regulatory requirements and may be responsible for orienting new staff members.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Certification & Licensure: ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist, CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed), BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate
  • Experience: 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Skills and Knowledge: General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and equipment, as well as strong communication and time management skills

Pay Range is $59.03 to $73.78 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
