EcoSouth Services , a regional provider of waste management solutions, is seeking experienced Long-Haul Semi-Truck Drivers to join their team in the Sarasota/Desoto/Manatee area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely drive a semi-truck to transport construction debris from local transfer stations in Sarasota & Manatee counties to a Sarasota landfill
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with Dispatch, Supervisor, and driver team to ensure excellent customer service on various routes and schedules
  • Manage the loading and unloading of waste materials at designated facilities (this is a drop and hook role)
  • Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure proper functionality and promptly address maintenance issues
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns to leadership
