Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary
The San Mateo-Foster City School District are looking for substitute custodians. This position is for an "on-call" basis. We need both day and night substitute custodians.
Night Custodian: $25.23 per hour
Day Custodian: $26.54 per hour
Definition:
Under general supervision, to coordinate daily school cleaning, repair, activity set-up, safety inspections, and security activities with the site principal, to keep buildings, grounds, and office space clean and orderly; to perform custodial, storekeeping, and light grounds and building maintenance tasks in the service of a school; to lead a small crew of custodians; and to perform related work as required.
