Duties

  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide primary care services, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
  • Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, I and D
  • Manage acute pain through appropriate medication management
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Nextgen) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
  • Proficiency in performing procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, and I and d
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (such as Nextgen)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
