Your day-to-day as a Marble Care Porter will entail:

• Attaining work assignments and supplies promptly; reports to the assigned area.
• Thoroughly cleaning marble surfaces in the designated area.
• Assisting in moving furniture and equipment for special events while using proper safety techniques.
• Properly using cleaning equipment (e.g., buffer, extractor, scrubber, vacuum) and operating aerial lifts safely.
• Cleaning and maintaining all equipment after use and reporting any damage to the Supervisor

To be successful as a Marble Care Porter, you'll need:

• The ability to successfully complete MSDS and OSHA training.
• Knowledge of hard floor care and marble care.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• To be self-motivated and attentive to detail.
• To be able to work independently.
• To be able to periodically work at heights.
• To be able to lift and/or move 75 lbs. or more.
• A valid NYS Driver's license to transport supplies/equipment and clean offsite.
