We are seeking a compassionate and fun Pediatric Dental Hygienist to work alongside our team of hygienists and coronal polish certified dental assistants. Each patient has a dedicated assistant with 30 to 45 minute appointments for recare appointments. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and a deep understanding of pediatric dental care. As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist at "APDO", you will play a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of our young patients and creating a positive and educational dental experience.

In addition to quintessential Dental Hygienist Responsibilities, our Hygienists:
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and identify oral pathology
  • Form relationships with patients and parents through education
  • Administer Local Anesthetic and take X-rays as needed
  • Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
Requirements
  • Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
  • Local anesthesia certified (or planning to get certification)
  • Strong communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young patients.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Valid Arizona license to practice


Salary Description
