CCI is seeking a skilled QA/QC Inspector for the Overhaul Group

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality assurance and quality control programs. This includes Inspection of all incoming turbine, compressor, gearbox, pump parts and various other parts that are deemed critical.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the mechanical field, including knowledge of turbines, compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings to obtain required measured dimensions.
  • Must have good communication skills for use in dealing with the rotating engineers and Hilcorp team lead.
  • Must be proficient in the use of the following tools: Micrometers (inside, outside, depth; calipers up to 74”).
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and use of Excel documents.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate; and demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Current NSTC Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced level proficiency in computers, including the ability to take online training, email general reports and use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Greater Prudhoe Bay facilities
Working Conditions:
  • Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
  • This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.
