Section 1: Position Summary As a security engineer reporting to the Vice President of Security Engineering, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, support, and advancement of our security solutions. Proactively respond to solution needs such as required maintenance and troubleshooting problems. Lead and participate in security-related projects, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and deliverables are communicated and achieved. Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 2+ years experience in security engineering, system administration, or other related security fields. Excellent understanding of network architectures, operating systems, cloud computing and security technologies. Certifications such as Network+, Security+, Cloud+. Experience implementing and maintaining two or more of the following technologies: EDR IDS / IPS DLP SSO & MFA SIEM CASB / SWG / SSAE PAM IAM WAF Network Segmentation Experience performing system automation and integration using languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash. In-depth knowledge of security principles, best practices, and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Critical Controls, ISO 27001/2). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions. Solid experience in maintaining system documentation including configurations and operating procedures (SOPs).
