Job specification

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, interpret laboratory results, and provide education on disease management and preventive care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and providing follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Candidate requirements Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in endocrinology or related specialty preferred. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA) is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
