The Junior QA Analyst at City Lifestyle develops and executes testing strategies and plans to ensure high quality software development processes. They are also expected to communicate with the development team regarding all the defects and adjustments. They should be inquisitive and professional so as to take part in stakeholder conversations to understand the big picture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and Improve Quality Assurance practices within the organization.
- Develop test plans based on requirements.
- Communicate issues with developers in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead stakeholders through user acceptance testing.
- Monitor errors in production systems.
- Communicate with support teams to triage bugs and identify potential user error
This individual should possess the following skills/traits:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Must be proficient in Google Suite
- The desire to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to growth within our rapidly expanding company. Self-induced initiative is greatly desired.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Open to constructive criticism.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred however not required
- At least 3+ years experience of Quality Assurance
- Residency in Kansas City metropolitan area
- Full time, hybrid
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Driving to onsite cultural activities as requested
- No travel demands at this time
