IT Intern Summary / Objective The information technology intern will assist the IT team in technical support duties, software and hardware upgrades, and other departments with various IT related projects. Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software and other systems Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Organize and maintain IT resources Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, web design, access control, and surveillance Perform other duties as assigned. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions at construction job sites. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment. Must be comfortable with heights up to 75 feet. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position is up to 40 hours per week. Hours of work vary based on project needs. Required Education and Experience Applicants must be pursuant of a degree in computer science or information. Must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must hold a Regular Operator (Class D) driving license. Applicant must have no felonies that are violent in nature and/or theft related in the last 7 years. Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from job site. Travel Occasional local travel is expected for this position.
