Job Description

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional - Physical Therapist Assistant to join our corrections medical team in Mitchells, Virginia. This facility a state prison for men and is a security level 2. It also has a capacity of 1,185 inmates.

PTA - Corrections Job Details:
  • Pay Rate: $1,180 to $1,380 per week
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30p, Monday-Friday
  • Available Shift: Days, 5 shifts per week
  • Start Date: Two weeks from offer
  • Located In: Mitchells, Virginia
  • Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.
As a Correctional Physical Therapist Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated
individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare
providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
