Meraki Network Engineer

Our client, a global luxury fashion division, is hiring a Meraki Network Engineer to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). Candidates must have the ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed to provide support. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working with Meraki hardware including Meraki MX, MS, and MR - must have all three.
Job Duties Include:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on network topics such as firewalls, routers, user VPNs, etc.
- Manage configuration of firewalls, switches, and access points
- Collaborate with security team to remediate vulnerabilities
- Document and update changes in the network environment accurately
- Partner on the establishment of policies, procedures, and support frameworks
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to reliability, Wi-Fi connectivity, etc.
- Lead projects to improve performance and create efficiencies within IT operations
- Recommend new infrastructure solutions or services to meet challenges
- Oversee local connectivity and telephony services for store locations
- Manage and optimize costs through negotiation with vendors
- Provide advanced support during critical incidents
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of work-related network implementation
- Must have 3+ years of experience working with Meraki hardware including Meraki MX, MS, and MR (Must have all three)
- Ideal candidates will have multi-site experience with expertise in site to site VPN configurations
- Experience in a retail or hospitality environment
- Experience with vendor management
- Ability to communicate issues in a non-technical way
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki administration
- Strong understanding on network subnetting
- Strong network and system troubleshooting
- Experience in a multi-brand environment
- Experience with systems such as ServiceNow and IPAM
Salary: $110k - $120k annually + bonus
