JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a QlikSense Developer for a 6M C2H or Direct-Hire (based on candidate preference) opportunity located in Irving, TX (onsite 3-days per week).  The QlikSense Developer will effectively translate business needs into actionable insights and intuitive BI dashboards and will serve as the lead to develop and maintain QlikSense BI dashboards.  The QlikSense BI Developer will collaborate with stakeholders, across departments, to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

• Design / Develop / Maintain Interactive / Visually Appealing Dashboards utilizing QlikSense
• Analyze Complex Datasets to Identify Trends / Patterns / Insights that Drive Business Decisions
• Ensure Data Accuracy / Integrity in BI Solutions – Implement Rigorous Data Validation Processes, etc.
• Act as Primary Point of Contact for BUI Dashboard-Related Inquiries / Support Needs
• Lead Design Sessions / Whiteboard Conversations / Rapid Build POCs (Proof-of-Concept)
• Provide Training / Support to Team Members on Effectively Utilizing BI Dashboards
• Provide Expertise on Data Governance / Data Management Solutions / Strategies
• Lead Efforts to Normalize / Resolve Data Quality Issues
• Strong Analytical / Problem Solving Skills – Working with Large / Complex Datasets
• Effectively Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

About The Project: Most recently, they have been migrating off of and moving away from QlikView to QlikSense.  It is their anticipation that QlikView will sunset completely at the end of June 2024.  Currently, they have ~25 reports created currently but not enough to really make an impact.  The QlikSense Developer must be strong in Advanced Analytics, Data Mining, Data Manipulation, Data Management, and have strong Advanced Data Layer (Drill-Downs Reporting, etc.) experience.  Currently, they are running more reports via Excel (on steroids).  What they are ultimately missing, is a strong data analyst with ability to develop strong visualizations and dashboards.  This person must be comfortable analyzing complex data sets, filtering from multiple different data sources (Database / ERP / Data Warehouse, etc.).  These visualizations and dashboards will be utilized to sell the different business units on the value of utilizing QlikSense and more comprehensive visual representations.  Currently, the team is having to filter through large complex-data sets in Excel format with little to no visualizations.  The QlikSense Developer MUST have experience building QlikSense Visualizations / Dashboards / Reports from ground-up.
