Clarivate is seeking to hire an energetic Lead Accountant, Consolidations and Systems to join our global Finance team Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will apply comprehensive knowledge to support the Consolidations and Controllership Teams. Providing leadership and guidance to other Accountants within the organization, you will be a key asset to the Consolidations and Controllership organization. The role will work directly with Director, Consolidations to facilitate and execute systems and other projects that affect the greater Finance organization.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 1+ year(s) of Public Accounting or Corporate Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and Internal Controls
  • Advanced Excel efficiency

It would be great if you also had...

  • Big 4 or Big 10 accounting experience
  • VBA Experience a plus
  • Experience with Consolidation and planning tools (i.e., OneStream, HFM, Planful, SAP BPC, Oracle FCCS, etc.)
  • Experience with Accounting ERP's (i.e., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

What will you be doing in this role?...

  • Complete the Annual Review and Baselining of Key Reports for external and internal audit
  • Assist with the administration of Consolidation system (OneStream) including chart of accounts and mapping updates
  • Control finance master data within the financial system ecosystem within the framework defined by the VP, Controller
  • Assess software releases and upgrades for business impact to ensure systems and reports stay current and operational
  • Execute testing on new products and enhancements for potential deployment in financial applications
  • Analyses complex accounting areas to ensure proper treatment in accordance with GAAP
  • Contributes to the successful execution of the Company's internal controls in accordance with the SOX compliance program
  • Collaborate with various functional departments to ensure the efficiency of accounting practices and procedures
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to members of the Controllership team
  • Coordinates with the team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the monthly and quarterly financial statements with supporting schedules/explanations

About the Team

The Consolidations Team is comprised of 4 finance professionals. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to support Global Controllership and the greater finance team with the compilation and distribution of the consolidated trial balance. This role reports directly to the Director of Accounting, Consolidations and provides the opportunity to work with finance leadership and other departments within Clarivate, contributing to strategic initiatives and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Hours of Work

  • Full Time, EST time zone
  • This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in our Philadelphia, PA office location
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours across regions and time zones worldwide
