Rehab Liaison Career Opportunity

An ideal candidate will have clinical rehab liaison skills with a clinical license. As a Rehab Liaison at Encompass Health, the role involves cultivating referral relationships, managing assigned territory, and completing patient assessments. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining excellent relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills in order to drive growth through patient referrals.

  • Develop business census based on strategic goals
  • Cultivate relationships within an assigned territory
  • Streamline the referral-to-admission process
  • Educate community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services
  • Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities
  • Conduct in-services and professional presentations about services and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Must have a current driver's license, acceptable driving record, state professional clinical licensure, and CPR certification
  • Preferably, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred
  • One or more years in nurse liaison or successful healthcare sales preferred
  • CRRN certification preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis
