Description

The Speech Pathologist functions under the general guidance of the home health team and direction of the Director of Home Health. The staff Speech Pathologist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides speech therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Speech and language pathology. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • May accept individual in a clinical fellowship based upon interview and clinical experience as a student.

  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
