WHAT TO BRING High school diploma or GED. Active participation in the Gentex-sponsored Apprenticeship Program or 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Standard Timing Model mechanical assessment score equal to or greater than 40%. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Meet the Following Physical Demands: High level of hand dexterity/coordination Ability to stand, remain stationary, and/or move about for 8 hours. Ability to ascend ladders and traverse multiple building floors and areas. Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Bending, reaching, squatting, or otherwise positioning the body around equipment of varying heights Must be able to work overtime as needed. WHAT WILL HELP Experience working with CAD software. Experience working with PLC programming. Experience with inventory management systems Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical prints
