Position Summary

The Inventory Analyst will manage overall inventory planning and operations for the technology business unit. We are looking for someone who can ensure both the ongoing stability of our inventory, while also helping develop and guide solutions to manage the inventory process. This person should have exposure to managing a firms technology inventory as well as knowledge of how end user support operates in an enterprise environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Will work across our Technology Unit to assure the completeness of inventory data which includes hardware (Servers, routers, storage devices, etc...), OS versions, DBMS, software, etc...in our data centers and our multi-cloud presence.
  • Responsible for creative solutions for problem solving within the Inventory and Supply Planning function.
  • Problem solve with cross-functional partners to resolve internal or external issues which affect inventory flow & proactively address constraints with the business.
  • Lead reporting & analytical efforts for developing and analyzing inventory reports.
  • Will create, maintain and support feeds in and out of the inventory system
  • Assist in the management of the Inventory and Supply Planning processes for Technology as a business unit.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation and reporting.
  • Problem solve with cross-functional partners to resolve internal or external issues which affect inventory flow & proactively address constraints with the business.
Position Requirements
  • Experience in analytics, strategy and/or inventory management
  • A minimum of 2 years prior work experience working in a production support or infrastructure support or application support environment
  • Working knowledge of IT Assets (hardware, OS, DBMS, software, etc...)
  • Experience in delivering departmental goals and objectives
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of working with third party software and systems
  • Strong creative problem-solving and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
