Description

Associate Veterinarian wanted in Brentwood, CA

We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Central Blvd. Veterinary Hospital. The ideal candidate will be a passionate professional with a profound appreciation for veterinary medicine and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch veterinary services, leveraging the latest advancements in diagnostics to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating a client service mindset to establish, build, and retain a robust client base, as well as fostering relationships within the local community. The successful candidate will champion the objectives and values of our practice, inspiring others to do the same. Adherence to established policies and procedures, efficient handling of caseloads, and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates are essential aspects of this role.

We are looking for a team player who promotes a collaborative working environment and places value on teamwork. The ability to prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure timely care for all animals is crucial. Additionally, educating clients on preventive care measures such as vaccinations, heartworm treatments, and flea and tick treatments will be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements for this position include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a State Veterinary Board License in good standing. In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $200,000 per year, plus production incentives.

As part of our commitment to your well-being, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401K with company match, flexible spending account or health savings account options, long-term disability coverage, and short-term disability paid for by the employer. Additional benefits include complimentary life insurance, a generous continuing education allowance, personal pet discounts, paid time off, paid holidays, and access to a company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Diablo, and numerous veterinary hospitals within a 20-mile radius enhance its appeal. Family-oriented with top-rated schools and sports leagues, Brentwood also boasts multicultural amenities and recreational options like local breweries, golf courses, and a children's water park. Its strategic location, just two hours from Yosemite National Park and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, makes it an ideal destination for adventure seekers and families alike.
