Job Summary:
- The Physical Therapist is dedicated to restoring patient functionality, managing pain, and preventing disabilities through medically prescribed therapy services in both home and healthcare facility settings.
- Possess the knowledge and skills to cater to the needs of the population served.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Preferred: One or more years of experience in hospital settings, long-term care, or outpatient therapy.
Licensure Requirements:
- Must hold a current license as a Physical Therapist in South Dakota.
- A license in Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or North Dakota may also be required, depending on the service area—must be obtained within 90 days of employment if needed.
- This position requires a valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under Avera Health’s automobile liability insurance.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift; working 32 hours every two weeks.
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (may vary based on coverage needs).
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $36.75 to $55.50, based on experience.
