Join our thriving community-based physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) practice as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician. This dynamic role involves a combination of responsibilities, including rotating in our closed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing pulmonary consults, managing outpatient pulmonary care, interpreting Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), and performing advanced bronchoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Rotate in our closed ICU, contributing to the comprehensive care of critically ill patients.
  2. Conduct pulmonary consults, offering expert insights and recommendations for optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Manage outpatient pulmonary care, ensuring high-quality and personalized treatment plans for individuals with respiratory conditions.
  4. Interpret Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) to assess lung function and guide treatment decisions.
  5. Perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures, including Auris robotic navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS. If the candidate does not already possess these skills there are others in the group that are willing to mentor the candidate.
  6. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a cooperative and patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
  1. BC / BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Sleep certification helpful but not essential.
  2. Demonstrated competence in ICU rotations, pulmonary consults, outpatient care, PFT interpretation, and advanced bronchoscopy.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-focused care.
  5. State medical licensure and compliance with all relevant regulations.
