Math Teacher

Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit network of high-performing, public charter schools providing an outstanding K-12 education in historically under-resourced communities. We are seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join our team and contribute to our mission of preparing students for success in college and beyond. As a Math Teacher, you will work with middle school students to cultivate a deep joy for mathematics and prepare them for academic autonomy and college preparatory focus in high school. You will teach foundational math principles, use data analysis to differentiate instruction, build positive relationships with students, and collaborate with internal and external partners to support student development.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to the mission of Uncommon Schools and investment in our vision for being an anti-racist organization
- Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities (1-2 years experience preferred)
- Academic expertise in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields
