We’re currently seeking a Psychiatrist to fill an opening with a correctional facility in Raleigh, NC offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and great work-life balance.

Details & Responsibilities –

  • Competitive Pay

  • 3+ Month Extendable Contract

  • Flexible full-time or part-time schedules

  • 8 hour shifts

  • Full-time - 40 hours/week

  • No weekend shifts

  • Start Date – ASAP

  • Credentialing Estimate – 2-3 weeks

  • Psychiatry. Provide initial and ongoing psychiatric assessments, group counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other providers onsite.

  • Charting. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in patient’s health record.

  • Take a leading role in the treatment of patients. Collaborate & work with other providers, nurses and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.

  • Refer Patients. As needed, refer patients to off-site specialists.

  • Approximately 10-15 PPD.

Required Qualifications –

  • BC/BE

  • Active/Unrestricted NC medical license

  • DEA Registration

  • BLS Certification
