We're currently seeking a.Full-time & PRN Occupational Therapist* to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at our.Accel at College Station* facility in.College Station, Texas.*
*Responsibilities.include:
Develop and implement the Occupational Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Occupational Therapy Assistants in delivery of the OT plans of care.
Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Occupational Therapy.
Communicate progress and any barriers toward OT goals with interdisciplinary team members.
Complete timely OT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each OT patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
Perform additional duties as required.
*Qualifications.include*:*
OT degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Texas license in good standing as an Occupational Therapist.
Meet physical requirements to deliver OT responsibilities.
Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
Successful completion of hiring process/background check.

*\*This Sign On Bonus is to be paid in 4 installments. The first payment of $1,000 will be made with the next payroll after the Full time employee as documented above has successfully completed 90 days of work without any disciplinary action. The second payment of $1,000 will be made with the payroll following the completion of 6 months of satisfactory work performance at Full time status. The third payment of $1,000 will be paid upon the successful completion of 9 months of Full time employment without any disciplinary action. The final payment of $2,000 will be paid upon the successful completion of one year of employment as a Full time employee, without any disciplinary action.*
