The Receiving Team Member's primary responsibility is to unload, stage, count, and notate all product that arrives on the dock. The individual is expected to maintain accuracy and efficiency following Receiving's standard operating procedures.

What You'll Do
  • Receive inbound shipments and verify correct content, following through to ensure proper stocking procedures are followed
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned
  • Build boxes and supply the receiving team with materials and other assistance as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
  • Identify and document any non-conformance issues with incoming products
What You'll Need
  • A high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A keen eye for detail
Work Environment
  • Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures including heat, cold, and sometimes wet or humid conditions. Exposure to high background noise is probable.
Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties
  • Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 90% of the time is spent in varying work areas and 10% of the time is spent in an office environment.
  • Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers and subordinates
  • Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, able assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination
  • Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs by hand.
  • Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed
