Overview

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities

A Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible to helping patients achieve optimal mental and emotional health by conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments and creating individualized treatment plans.

This is a salaried, exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills when building rapport with patients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively with other healthcare staff. Proactive in the documentation of patient assessments and treatment plans. Committed to providing the best care, ongoing professional development, and working collaboratively as part of a team.

A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; and a valid license in the State for the practice as an LCSW or LCPC required. Minimum of 2 years of mental health therapy experience preferred.
