In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing essential medical care to inmates and detainees within our facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of medical duties, including observing inmate behavior, responding to medical requests, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for medication administration, maintaining medical inventory, and ensuring the completion of necessary reports and documents. Duties Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist with the medical needs of inmates Dispense appropriate medication as directed Assist with medical assessments Additional duties as required Qualifications and Requirements Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have a current Florida LPN license and CPR card ```{=html} ``` - Must pass an extensive background investigation including polygraph and drug test - Read, speak, and understand the English language - 12 hour shift schedule including nights, weekends and holidays The following items may be required at various steps in the application process: Driver's License Birth Certificate Social Security Card Form DD214 for all periods served in the military GED or High School Diploma and Sealed Transcripts from the highest level of education FDLE Authority for Release
