This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites up to four days per week and work remotely the remaining day(s). A member of our Talent Acquisition team will provide more details.
The bank is now moving toward a cloud first mentality. As we are reducing in size, we are also bringing in new technologies that require new resources who know these skill sets and tools. At the same time we are being asked to still support the existing technologies and help the bank transform and migrate into a new strategy.
To do this we need not only SME's that know the existing technologies, but we also need new resources who can help guide and deploy the new solutions. While the other solution are transitioning, migrating and retiring. THe bank is also investing heavily in Microsoft and other cloud solutions. WHich offer many capabilities that many of our resources today dont have time to intake, learn or understand.
This is creating the perception that we lack capabilities in our existing portfolio of software investments. When really we just dont have the resources available to invest in what we actually have availble to us.
This is a problem as we are now intaking more products with the belief that they are filling gaps, when some of those capabilities or tools are availble on many of things we already invested in, but just simply do not have the resources to either mature them or showcase them.
This is why focused SME resources are needed, as they would mature and discover all existing software purchased capabilities. Allowing for a cost avoidance of things we may not really need. Or to call out that the tools we are investing in are smiply not worth the continued investment.
Hardware Standards dedicated body has been removed from this model. As that is something any one of these resoures can take on and create strategic roadmaps for when needed. AS well as imaging for operating systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Automation provisioning of new Azure virtual desktop solution including Azure AVD, Windows 365, Citrix cloud. Development and automation of provisioning infrastructure and Azure Functions, using Kubernetes and or Terraform with knowledge of Ansible.
Automation for self-orchestration of virtual machines for onboarding with integration with Service Now
Senior level on the job working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Bash, .Net, Java, C# or other scripting glue for automation required.
Hands on experience with Azure Functions, DevOps, Azure SDK's and many of the API's used to integrate with Azure.
Experience with Infrastructure Configuration Solutions, such as Azure Automation, Orchestrator, SCCM Desired State Configuration, Azure Desired State Configuration, Puppet, Chef, or others.
Will be helping with automating processes and API's for Azure workloads such as Intune, Defender, Log Analytics and AVD.
Experience designing and implementing with cloud SaaS, LaaS and PaaS Services
Usage knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Experience, DevOps philosophies and working with infrastructure-as-code. AWS CloudFormation experience also a benefit but not required.
Azure troubleshooting, logs, Azure Monitor, basically where to look when deployments fail and/or are not working as defined.
Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Cloud Solution Design Skills, experience with cloud Monitoring and Alerting Solutions, such as Azure Monitor or Log Analytics.
Azure Policies - creating, applying, managing, and troubleshooting their effects
Senior level scripting and programming languages required in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Cloud Solution Design Skills, experience with cloud Monitoring and Alerting Solutions, such as Azure Monitor or Log Analytics.
Hands on experience with automating various Azure Workloads
Knowledge of M365 suite of products,
2+ years of experience in software development, architecture or technology consulting.
Hands on experience using Code obfuscation, application binary scanning , integrating SDK's into mobile apps.
Experience with developing and presenting engineering designs and diagrams
The typical base pay range for this role is between $125K - $155K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
