What to expect.

As a Placement Specialist, you will play a key role in developing strategic resources to increase the pool of qualified candidates to fulfill the staff needs of our Business Services. You will actively source and screen candidates for various positions, particularly for state and federal set-aside programs, and facilitate the hiring process in alignment with compliance standards.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking vacancies for employment opportunities and developing recruitment strategy for fill position(s).
  • Reviewing resumes and applications for appropriate distribution in compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action program (AAP), and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) guidelines.
  • Collaborating with contract managers and supervisors, as well as visiting contract sites, to understand employment needs of each work location.
  • Coordinating and participating in hiring process: employee requisition, screening, interviewing, and processing for hire.
  • Building relationships with sources of recruitment such as rehabilitation agencies, universities, and vocational schools.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.
  • Two years of experience in behavioral health or healthcare field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business related field is preferred, but not required.
  • A valid Maryland driver’s license with a good driving record and access to a vehicle during the workday.
