Your day to day as a Pharmacy Technician

As a new Pharmacy Technician at North Mississippi Primary Health Care, you can expect to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing prescriptions accurately, interacting with both patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring the pharmacy adheres to all regulatory requirements. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This structured routine will allow you to develop your skills and contribute to the efficient operations of our pharmacy department.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Pharmacy Technician at North Mississippi Primary Health Care, you will need strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using pharmacy software and tools such as CPhT certification is essential for this role. Your ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities will be key to your success in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and exceptional patient care.
